We're a proud independent company located in the Bloor West Village, part of
Toronto's West End. We utilize industry standard time test and true
teaching methods to assist students to meet and excel in their academic
endeavors. We offer assistance in Mathematics, Science and English.
Grasping the fundamentals of Mathematics, Science and English is essential

We are locally owned & operated with many years experience in assisting
students of all levels of ability from Senior Kindergarten through Grade 12
in Mathematics, for Grade 11 and 12 in Chemistry & Physics and from
Senior Kindergarten to Grade 8 in Reading, Writing & Spelling.
Manager/Owner:
Tony St. Amant
Tony graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1983 with a
Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, major in Computer Science.
IN addition to his academic background in Mathematics he has approximately
20 years experience designing and building software with many
high profile companies such as Bell Canada, Cineplex and
Allstate Insurance. During this time, his focus was oriented
towards working directly with the end user to determining their
needs and desires. He was responsible for development
and delivery of training courses for a variety of
software products.
Today, after spending many years as an Owner & Operator of
a tutoring centre, Tony firmly believes that there is a rich and exciting
future in careers based on Mathematics and Science. He understands
completely the relevance within today″s market
place. With that in mind, he is fully prepared to help your
child realize their unique goals by preparing them for the
highly competitive future which lies ahead.
Head Tutor:
Mario Portoraro
Mario is twice a graduate from the University of Toronto, once
in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, and in
1988 with a Bachelor of Music in Performance. His teaching career
began in 1990 for clients such as the University of Toronto,
Bell Canada and CIBC, as well as developing software systems
for Spar and Cardinal Telecommunications.
After many years in the corporate world, Mario has been moving
towards a career that can help youth in their development. He
wishes to channel his theoretical knowledge and experience into
growing minds. His personal and attentive approach to teaching
has resulted in sparking student's interests and awakening potential
in unexpected areas.
Thanks to his artistic career, Mario has always been in contact
with groups of adults, youth and children. His unique combination
of scientific knowledge, artistic inclination, and keen attentiveness
to student's gifts, has equipped him to achieve the goals that
can set a more firm foundation for those moving into higher levels
of school, college, and university.
