The idea is quite simple; the education of your child is a team effort. Although your son or daughter may be the key player there are many people and components integral to their academic success.

With this in mind, we′ve developed ′Parent Connections′ to keep both you and your child informed. This will allow you to review your child′s progress on a session by session basis. Keep track many of the details of their success; what are they working on, how well they are grasping concepts and so on. Parent Connections will even let you know if your child is arriving on time or leaving early.

When you first log on, you will be presented with a list of your child sessions. By simply clicking on the Details icon   to the right of the session you wish to review, you will see the report prepared by the tutor. If you have more than one child attending, you can select between the children by using the drop down box at the top of the list.

Within the session Details page you will see the following:

      •   The course and topic your child worked on during their session.
      •   A six point, five-star rating of your son or daughter′s performance
            on the major areas affecting their success.
      •   What additional homework the tutor assigned and if no homework was assigned why.
      •   A short paragraph by the tutor highlighting key points of the session.

Our intent is to insure both you and your child have a full understanding of what we are doing at our centre. Through this tool our hope is that all members of the team have the same information and hence can help your child achieve their academic success. We do however realize that Parent Connections can′t always cover every situation so we welcome/encourage feedback from both our parents and students.
